Australian Federal Government Minister for Science & Technology the Hon Melissa Price awards $2.99 million to Bioplant Limited for a CRC-PGrant

The Pyrolysis technology behind the GGII plant was recently awarded a $2.99 million grant from the Australian Government as part of its 2022 round of the Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P). Bioplant Limited was appointed as project lead for the grant which was developed in conjunction with RMIT & Sustainable will be used to further research how carbon black from the tyre waste can be used to be integrated into polymers to further reduce GHG’s.Partner agreements are expected to be signed with RMIT and University of Melbourne who will undertake the research for the char products on behalf of the project lead Bioplant Limited.
